VISION

Our vision is to see Kansas City united for the purpose of city transformation and positive impact for the next generation. Kansas City is often viewed as a city with many walls of separation. We are divided by state and county lines, race, economics, denominations, politics, social class, and even generational divides.

In 2015, our city and region came together in an exciting way to celebrate our World Series Champions: The Kansas City Royals. Then, in 2020, for the first time in 50 years, we celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs at the NFL Super Bowl! The Chiefs won it again in 2023, and we saw how incredible it was for our city to join together in unity for a common cause. What if Kansas City could partner together for the greater good of one another, especially for the next generation? This was Jesus’ passion and prayer in John 17 - let’s make it ours!

John 17:20-23 (NIV) My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
